Adopt An Animal

Lake Metroparks Animal Ambassadors represent a variety of native Ohio wildlife species. These residents are under the permanent care of the Kevin P. Clinton Wildlife Center staff because their injuries prohibit independent survival. Animal Ambassadors allow us to educate the public about conservation.

We invite you to support our mission of nature education, conservation and stewardship through “adopting” one of our Animal Ambassadors. Click here to Adopt an Animal.

Adoption levels

$125 donation ($200 donation for Apollo the bald eagle)

• Outreach program (if available) with your adopted animal or large photo of your adopted animal (Please note: outreach programs are designed for groups; no private functions. Programs to be scheduled and presented within six months).
• Mini tote lunch bag with Adopt an Animal logo
• Certificate with small photo of your adopted animal
• Your name on the donor board in the Kevin P. Clinton Wildlife Center lobby
• Lake Metroparks magnet, sticky note pad, pen and trading cards

$50 donation

• Certificate with small photo of your adopted animal
• Your name on the donor board in the Kevin P. Clinton Wildlife Center lobby
• Lake Metroparks magnet, sticky note pad and pen

$25 donation

• Certificate with the photo of your adopted animal
• Lake Metroparks sticky note pad and pen

Although your adopted animal will stay at the Kevin P. Clinton Wildlife Center, you may visit during open hours.
