| Description: |
October 15 through March 29 or year-round for outreach
Student teams create their own wind turbines and investigate solar panels using the scientific method. They examine the solar origin of energy and explore renewable and non-renewable energy sources. They examine a solar array and wind turbine to discover how electricity is generated. A science kit or a pre-visit is available to help prepare students for this lesson.
