Farmpark presents one of Ohio’s finest quilt shows with up to 200 quilts and quilt-related works on display. Includes a judged show of quilts completed by regional artists from Northeast Ohio and neighboring states. Show visitors can vote for the People’s Choice award, to be announced by April 24. Jean Impey of San Juan Capistrano, California is a prolific artist, curator and exceptional teacher. Her journey in the realm of quilting began in 2007, igniting a zeal that eventually led to her remarkable expertise. Jean has captivated audiences across the United States with her lectures and teaching at hundreds of guilds and retreats, including MISA, The Houston International Quilt Show and Empty Spools Seminars. Distinguished by her relentless passion for quilting, Jean has empowered countless quilters and artists. Her mastery extends beyond teaching, as she has left an indelible mark in public spaces with commissioned textile pieces gracing institutions like UCI Medical, CHOC Hospital, Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital and Kaiser Permanente. With her textile art appearing in magazines and a spotlight on Quilting Arts Magazine’s TV show, Jean shines like a bright star in the quilting world! Her artistry and teaching style bring boundless joy to the quilting world, turning every stitch into a party!
In addition to Jean’s work being showcased, she will lead a series of workshops and present a lecture entitled “Cre-a-tiv-i-ty & Has Someone Stolen Yours.” This lecture will be an absolute gamechanger for your quilting journey. Discover untapped wells of motivation and confidence you never knew you had. Regional instructors will also lead workshops. Registration is required for workshops and lecture.
