This 21-acre lakefront park features a beach with a gradual slope and sandy bottom. Recreational opportunities on the waterfront include kayaking, canoeing, sailing, boating, camps, and special beach programs/festivals.
The historic Fairport Harbor Lighthouse and Marine Museum next to the park is available for tours. Call (440) 354-4825 to arrange a lighthouse visit.

Courtesy and Safety
- Our parks serve as sanctuaries to both wildlife and people. Please help keep our parks clean to protect and preserve our natural resources and wildlife.
- Please put your litter in containers provided.
- Please do not bring glass containers to the beach.
- Fires must be contained within grills provided.
- No alcohol is permitted.
- Please keep amplified music at a reasonable level.
- Supervise your children, both in the water and on land.
- Swim only in the designated swim area.
- For your safety, flotation devices are not permitted in the swim area.
- Lifejackets are available at the concession stand free of charge.
- Park opens at sunrise and closes one half-hour after sunset.
- Dogs must be on a leash and are allowed only on the paved parking lot and in the designated dog swim area.

Park Hours: Sunrise to ½ hour past sunset
Beach Hours: The beach at Fairport Harbor Lakefront Park opens for the 2008 season on Memorial Day Weekend beginning Saturday, May 24. The beach opens daily beginning
June 7 through August 24. The beach will also be open Labor Day Weekend August 30 - September 1 and PerchFest September 5 - 7. Gates open, lifeguards are on duty and the concession stand is open from 10 am to 8 pm, weather dependent.

Amenities
Accessible restrooms, changing rooms and shower facilities; picnic area and pavilion with grills, drinking fountain, playground, volleyball courts, and a Surf Chair (all-terrain wheelchair for use by visitors with physical disabilities). Food concession stand is open daily, weather permitting, from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.

Parking
A $2 parking fee applies to Lake County residents (ID required); $3 for out-of-county residents. Season parking passes are available for $25 for Lake County residents and $35 for out-of-county residents. The park may be accessed free of charge by walk-in patrons who park elsewhere.

Directions
Take Rt. 2 to the Fairport Harbor/Richmond Street exit and go north to the light at the Richmond Street/Rt. 283 intersection. Proceed north (straight) for about 1/4 mile to High Street. Turn right on High Street and proceed to Fairport Harbor Lakefront Park entrance.
