Event Information

Discover the entire maple syrup production process as sap is collected, boiled, and turned into maple syrup and other products. Enjoy the end product of the labor by sampling freshly made maple syrup.

Lake Metroparks taps a network of more than 1,000 trees at Farmpark to gather sap to produce maple syrup, preserving 27 acres of maple woodland.
Maple syrup production has improved over the years from the original bucket tap to the intricate tubing system employed by the industry today.

Take I-90 to the Rt. 306 exit. Head south on Route 306 five miles to Chardon Road (Route 6), turn left on Route 6, and head east one mile. Entrance to Farmpark is on the right.
