Lake Metroparks Spring Wildflower Information

Typical Best Weeks: Last week of April, first week of May
Spring wildflowers can be seen as early as late March (esp. skunk cabbage) but
also through the entire month of May. Peak weeks depend on variations in
temperature and moisture.

Penitentiary Glen Reservation Halle Home Loop twin leaf, wild ginger, Solomon’s seal, foamflower, Virginia bluebell, black cohosh, cow parsnip level, hard-surface
Veterans Park trails around pond trillium, marsh marigold, jack-in-the-pulpit easy, accessible wooden boardwalk
