Put FUN in your birthday fling! Let us do the work to make your child’s birthday party a fun-filled and unique experience! Party includes a party host, age appropriate games, birthday banner, paper products, indoor/outdoor activity, and free parking.
Each child receives a party favor, cup cake, and drink.

Birthday parties are geared for children 5 to 12 years old and last 90 minutes.

Wild Birthday Parties
 Ages 3 to 8
Minimum 6, maximum 20
One 1 1/2-hour session
Fee: $9 per child ($54 minimum)
Give your child and up to 20 friends a wild time!
We provide the location, refreshments, party favors, great games, a live wild animal (in most cases) with a variety of party themes.
Parties held at the Kevin P. Clinton Wildlife Center
Choose from the following themes:

- Roaming Reptiles
- Who-o-o's Out at Night?
- Vulture View

Farmpark "Down on the Farm" Birthday Parties
Lake Metroparks Farmpark
Ages: Up to 12
Minimum 20, maximum 50
Two-hour session - Time options:10 am-12 noon or 2:00-4:00 pm
Fees: $120
Covers the rental of one of two meeting rooms for two hours, admission to the park for up to 20 participants (aged two and older, under 2 are free), and use of a little red wagon for gifts.
The individual/family members, 2 and older, who are giving the party are included in the initial 20 participants. Additional guests, aged 2 and older, over the initial 20 are $4 each.
Farmpark member discount: Farmpark members are included in the initial 20 participant count and receive a 10% discount on the rental fees.
Decorations and food: You may provide your own decorations and food, if any. Please note that there is no refrigeration or places for heating food, so please bring coolers with ice, hot plates, etc. Due to the agreement with our leased cafe operations, should you wish to have it catered (from cake and ice cream to a full lunch), we will refer you to the Sawyer House Cafe at Farmpark for food and pricing information (440-256-3802). It is best to contact the Cafe between 2:00 and 4:30 pm. You may, however, have pizza delivered. You will have access to the room one half hour before the party to decorate. Should you require additional time for decorating or the actual party, the fee is $30 for each additional half hour, based on availability.
Farmpark activities and other entertainment options: You and your guests will enjoy the daily activities at Lake Metroparks Farmpark, before, during or after the party. Farmpark hours are 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., seven days per week, excluding January, February, and March when we are closed on Mondays. If requested, we will coordinate a wagon tour of the park for your party. In addition, we will provide contact information for other entertainment (i.e., pony rides, Cowboy Ben roping, etc.) which must be scheduled in advance and paid for separately.
Reservations: Please request your reservation six weeks in advance, if at all possible. A minimum $50 deposit is required to hold your reservation, with the balance due the day of the party. We accept checks, cash, VISA, Mastercard, and Discover.
Parties are held in either the Atrium (which seats up to 30-35) or the Classrooms (which seat up to 50).

Nature Center Birthday Parties
Parties for children ages 6 to 10
at Penitentiary Glen Nature Center.
Themes include:

- Insect Investigators (June - September)
- Snowshoe Adventure (Late January - February)
- Super Star Lab Indoor Planetarium * (Late January-October)
Your birthday party includes:
- Party host naturalist
- themed crafts and activities
- Outdoor activities, weather permitting
Each child receives:
- cupcakes and drink
- goodie bags
Fee: $9 per child (min 6 max 15 Fishin' Fun maximum of 10 children)
Parties last 90 minutes.
*Fee for Starlab Party is $12.50 per child ($125 min)
