Printer Friendly VersionPrinter Friendly Version Wildflowers in Lake Metroparks

With the unseasonably warm weather we experienced during the winter of 2011-12, we are starting to see the effects on the natural cycle of plants, trees, and wildflowers. Wildflowers that in a typical year have begun to bloom the first week of May are blooming in early April. The wildflowers can be found at
Indian Point Park and Hogback Ridge Park. Click here for directions to the parks.

The chart below includes the name of the park and when it has/is/or is anticipated to bloom this year.
