Educators for pre-K through grade twelve can schedule virtual education programs available from Lake Metroparks. Educational programs align to Ohio’s Learning Standards. Some portions are live and some are pre-recorded. These programs offer students lessons in math, native wildlife, farming, social studies, physical education, STEM and more. Lake Metroparks offers professional development opportunities, many in cooperation with Lake Erie College or NEOEA. These weekend and summer workshops enhance educator knowledge and understanding of science, social studies and math and are aligned with Ohio’s Academic Content Standards. We welcome the opportunity to work with professional development committees to develop and present workshops to fulfill teacher certification requirements.
