Hidden Lake features nearly a mile loop trail, a nine-acre pond and a pier extending into the pond for fishing and wildlife observation.
Anglers are welcome to keep fish caught (maximum five trout per day per angler, no size limit). A fishing license is not required to fish at Hidden Lake.
Lake Metroparks opened an archery range at Hidden Lake in Leroy Township in September 2018. The range features eight ground-level shooting lanes and 4’ x 4’ targets set at ranges from 10 to 50 yards and a raised shooting platform that accommodates three archers. In a separate adjacent area, archers can use a shorter range (up to 20 yards), allowing people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the sport of archery.
