Directions I-90 to State Route 44; head south (toward Chardon) to first traffic light (Auburn Rd). Turn left on Auburn Rd, continue straight past Concord-Hambden Rd (Quail Hollow) to next intersection. Turn right onto Spear Rd; continue to 11189 Spear Rd (on left).
The Lake Metroparks Ranger Department will indiscriminately serve all citizens of Lake County by protecting and preserving all resources under the authority of the Lake Metroparks Board of Park Commissioners as authorized by the Ohio Revised Code. The department will serve as the Public Safety and Law Enforcement Agency for the Lake Metroparks, and will provide safety, security, and protection for all park visitors while promoting the wise and prudent use of the resources through education and enforcement of park rules, state and federal laws. The Department will exercise its vested authority in a courteous, firm and consistent manner to encourage the use of the park resources while enhancing the quality of life for all. Complaints against a Ranger are taken very seriously, and we strive to complete a thorough investigation of allegations of any misconduct. Once the investigation is complete, the complaint is forwarded to the Chief Ranger, or his/her designee, who will make a determination of action. Please click here to submit a complaint.
