Carved into the landscape and dipping to 100 feet at its deepest point, the gorge at Penitentiary Glen Reservation has great beauty within it. The stream running through it, Stoney Brook, is the natural force that created the gorge. Throughout the ravine, there are multiple waterfalls, salamanders, frogs and plants of many varieties.
