Super Star Party

It is our closest neighbor, but do we really know our moon? And what about all of the other moons out there, are they all the same? Join us for our annual Super Star Party to discover all there is to know about our moon and the many others that are floating out in space. There are plenty of things to do for all ages. Enjoy the entire evening featuring:

• Astronomical presentation by research astronomer
• Night sky exploration using telescopes (compliments of Chagrin Valley Astronomical Society)
• View the Perseid meteor shower!
• Lunar crafts, intergalactic games, spaced-out contests
• Wild animal shows
• Popcorn, soda and snacks for purchase
• The Nature Store (selling special space-age merchandise)
• Miniature train rides (weather permitting)

You must register for the entire event. Chosen timeslots are for your assigned train ride ONLY. Train rides are at 7, 8, 9 or 10 pm. Trains and outdoor activities are weather dependent. For safety reasons, trains do not run in inclement weather or poor weather-related conditions. Must be in line before the allotted time. Note: For safety reasons, pregnant women are not permitted to ride the trains. All children must be able to sit in their own designated seat; lap sitting is not permitted. Train departure is within the hour. Come early/ stay late and enjoy all the activities listed!
