Now that the new high-level bridge on Vrooman Road is open, Lake Metroparks has opened new access to its popular Indian Point Park in Leroy Township. This part of the park features a new parking area, playground, picnic areas and access to a new pedestrian bridge spanning the Grand River. Magnificent views of the Grand River can be viewed from the pedestrian bridge, only a three-minute walk from the parking lot on a paved trail. Future plans include the addition of trails to provide connections and more access within the park.

The new entrance at 12701 Seeley Road is easily accessed by following Vrooman Rd. to Old Vrooman Rd. (south of the new high-level bridge). The lot and new playground are located where Old Vrooman Road turns into Seeley Road.

Other park access locations within Indian Point Park include the lower parking lot (12951 Seeley Road) and the upper parking lot (13165 Seeley Road). For more information about Indian Point, click here.
