Hidden Lake

Hidden Lake features nearly a mile loop trail, a nine-acre pond and a pier extending into the pond for fishing and wildlife observation.

All species of fish other than trout are catch and release. Anglers are welcome to keep trout caught (maximum five trout per day per angler, no size limit). A fishing license is not required to fish at Hidden Lake.

Archery Range

Lake Metroparks opened an archery range at Hidden Lake in Leroy Township in September 2018. The new range features eight ground-level shooting lanes and 4’ x 4’ targets set at ranges from 10 to 50 yards and a raised shooting platform that will accommodate three archers. In a separate adjacent area, archers can use a shorter range (up to 20 yards), allowing people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the sport of archery.
