This park offers excellent access to the Grand River below a spectacular exposed Chagrin Shale cliff.
Views of the scenic river are visible from a flat riverside trail. Trees along the river and trail display evidence of busy beavers. A pond and loop trail are also available at the north entrance of the park.
With its smaller slope, Hidden Valley Park is ideal for smaller children just beginning to sled. The moderate sledding hill is located next to the parking lot. A fire ring is located near the picnic shelter; wood may be provided as available and staff is able to supply during the winter. Restrooms open. Additional lighting provided. Sledding permitted until the park closes.
To protect the health of anyone who eats Ohio-caught fish, an annual advisory for how often these fish can be safely eaten is prepared by the Ohio Department of Health in cooperation with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.
