This easy-access campsite is 150’ from the parking area and 400’ to the pit-style restroom with a nearby flat gravel 0.50-mile loop trail on the ridge above the Paine Creek Valley. This campsite offers the opportunity to explore the 981 acres of Hell Hollow Wilderness Area including Paine Creek, the 262 timber steps to its floodplain and waterfalls. Visitors can also walk within the park’s beech and hemlock forests and view Chagrin Shale cliffs.
